Software Engineer (m/f/d) Location: Hanover Employment Type: Full-time Purpose and Goal of the Position Are you looking for a new job? Experis is seeking a Software Engineer (gn) for a permanent position with our client in the electronics industry at their Hanover location. Responsibilities and Duties As a Software Engineer (m/f/d), your tasks will include: Developing and enhancing monitoring solutions based on Icinga Developing scripts and automation solutions using Python and/or PowerShell Building modern web interfaces with TypeScript Continuing the development of desktop applications based on Electron Supporting the development of future applications using Angular Processing, analyzing, and visualizing technical data, as well as deriving actionable recommendations Analyzing technical requirements and implementing them into reliable, maintainable software solutions Working with Windows and Linux systems Collaborating in an agile sprint team and actively contributing your own ideas and experience Using modern development and collaboration tools such as Git, Jira, Microsoft Teams, and Cursor Applying and further developing modern AI-supported software development methods, particularly Agentic Coding Qualifications and Requirements Several years of hands-on professional software development experience, ideally around 6–10 years Strong proficiency in Python and/or PowerShell Solid practical experience with TypeScript Experience in web interface development Knowledge of Angular or a willingness to learn the framework quickly Experience with Electron is a plus Experience working with Windows and Linux environments Ideally, knowledge of monitoring systems, preferably Icinga Confident user of Git, Jira, and Microsoft Teams Initial practical experience with AI and modern AI tools, such as Cursor Interest in Agentic Coding and contemporary software development approaches Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work Strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and reliable execution Proactive work ethic and strong teamwork skills A practical, hands-on mindset focused on efficiently improving existing solutions Language skills: German and English Benefits and Employer Offer Attractive annual salary (negotiable) 30 days of paid vacation Collaboration within an agile sprint team Modern development tools and technologies Flexible hybrid work model after successful onboarding Approx. 4 weeks of intensive, on-site onboarding in Hanover Followed by a standard schedule of 2 days per week in the office and 3 days working from home Option to work on-site more frequently if desired Contact Information Have we piqued your interest?
