About the role
ABOUT US For a leading group in the German retail environment, we are filling the following position immediately as part of temporary employment: SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER / DEVOPS AI (M/F/D) YOUR TASK PROFILE Development of modern data-driven applications for the optimization of complex business processes Evaluation of existing applications regarding their AI readiness and identification of sensible AI application possibilities Introduction and further development of AI-supported development processes and best practices Use of modern AI coding assistants to optimize development, testing, and documentation Establishment of technical standards as well as continuous improvement of software quality Development and maintenance of modern frontend and backend components Collaboration in the DevOps environment including CI/CD, deployment, and operation of productive systems Analysis and resolution of technical malfunctions as well as continuous optimization of existing platforms Knowledge sharing within the team as well as active promotion of innovative working methods YOUR QUALIFICATION PROFILE Several years of professional experience in software development Experience in the DevOps environment as well as with CI/CD pipelines Very good knowledge of modern software architectures Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Confident handling of Clean Code, refactoring, and automated tests Experience in the analysis of productive systems and troubleshooting Knowledge in the field of AI-supported software development and AI coding assistants Experience with technical audits and gap analyses Very good German and English skills WE OFFER Flexible work organization with a high proportion of remote work Demanding and innovative projects in the AI environment Modern technologies and future-oriented system landscapes Personal support from the YER team Long-term project perspective with extension option INTERESTED?
