SENIOR FREELANCE DEVOPS MISSION - GCP / OPENSHIFT Duration: 3 years Start: ASAP Location: Châtillon Experience: 10 years and + Remote work: 3 days on site / 2 days remote (non-negotiable) Sector: Retail Daily Rate: €650 1. MISSION CONTEXT As part of the strengthening of its DevOps AI Division, our client is looking for a DevOps Expert with strong expertise in GCP/GKE and OpenShift environments. The contractor will join the DevOps Division and will intervene throughout the product and application lifecycle (Build, Build to Run, Run, decommissioning), in close collaboration with development, operations, infrastructure, security, and product teams. 2. MAIN MISSIONS * Design, deploy, and evolve Cloud environments and application platforms * Provide expertise on GCP, GKE/Kubernetes, and OpenShift * Industrialize and automate build, deployment, and operations processes * Design, maintain, and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines * Implement and maintain application deployments with Helm * Automate technical operations with Ansible / Ansible Tower * Contribute to the standardization of DevOps practices, architectures, and components * Support applications during Build and Build to Run phases (operational prerequisites, preparation for production releases, operability) * Participate in Run, maintenance in operational conditions, incident resolution, and improvement of reliability and performance * Contribute to the decommissioning of end-of-life applications and technical components * Identify opportunities for automation and optimization and implement associated solutions * Participate in the continuous improvement of DevOps Division practices and standards 4. SEARCHED PROFILE * Senior / Expert profile, with significant experience in complex and production environments * GCP / GKE / Kubernetes expertise * OpenShift expertise * GitLab CI/CD proficiency * Helm proficiency * Ansible / Ansible Tower proficiency * Solid experience in automation, industrialization, and operation of Cloud/Kubernetes platforms * Good understanding of production, security, availability, and observability challenges * True DevOps culture: Dev/Run collaboration, automation, accountability across the entire lifecycle, industrialization, continuous improvement * Proactive, capable of identifying areas for improvement and proposing pragmatic and sustainable technical solutions 5.
