Lead Developer Java / C/C++ - Aeronautical Products (M/F)

About the role

1. PROJECT CONTEXT INFORMATIS TS is looking for one of its clients, a leading industrial and technological player operating in the airport and aeronautical ecosystem, for a Lead Developer Java / C/C++ (M/F). You will join a software team of about ten engineers dedicated to a suite of critical products deployed on an international scale. The project is distinguished by a dual strategic challenge combining historical robustness and application modernization: Modernization & Innovation: Active participation in the design and "from scratch" development of the brand new software generation on a sustainable Java architecture. Maintenance & Evolution of existing systems: Steering the evolutionary maintenance and optimization of the proven solution developed in C/C++. Knowledge Transfer & Leadership: Building expertise on the core technology of the solution in order to become the technical reference and support the team of developers. 2. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES In this position combining strategic vision, technical management, and operational development, your missions are structured around three major pillars: A. Architecture & Technical Strategy Supervise the overall software architecture and guide technical choices to ensure performance, maintainability, and security of the solution. Integrate cybersecurity issues from the design phase (Security by Design). Contribute to the development and monitoring of the technical roadmap in close connection with product teams. B. Design & Operational Development Participate directly in key developments of the new version in Java. Provide expert-level support and evolutionary/corrective maintenance of the solution in production (C/C++). Write technical specifications, architecture documentation, and prepare delivery packages. C. Technical Leadership & Coordination Unite, guide, and develop the skills of the developer team (code reviews, best practices, dissemination of standards). Support integration, validation, and customer support teams during the deployment of new versions. Occasionally provide technical insight to sales teams on responses to calls for tenders or complex use cases. Desired Profile Education & Experience: Graduate of an engineering school or a Master's degree in computer science, you have at least 5 years of experience in complex software development. Technical Skills: Proven and solid dual competence in Java and C/C++. Hardware & Embedded Sensitivity: Experience in an industrial environment, embedded systems, or direct interaction with hardware equipment will be a distinctive asset. Leadership Posture: You have already held a role as Lead Developer, Tech Lead, or Reference Developer, with a strong taste for knowledge sharing and technical facilitation. Languages: Good level of professional English in writing and speaking (documentation, client exchanges, and international context). Sectoral Asset (optional): Familiarity with airport/aeronautical standards (e.g., IATA, AEA, ITPS) is a plus, but not mandatory.
