About the role

Job description: You are joining an IT team of about twenty people, organized around a support department and two development departments. You will evolve in an environment where a LIMS software package at the heart of laboratory activity, about sixty legacy applications mainly developed in .NET Framework, several heavy clients and batches, but also a modern application ecosystem based on APIs and the latest versions of .NET currently coexist. The goal is not to rewrite the entire IS, but to modernize it gradually, taking advantage of business developments to refactor, decouple, and industrialize existing applications. In this capacity, you will participate in particular in Designing, developing, and evolving business applications in C#/.NET Participating in the gradual migration of legacy applications to .NET 8/10 Developing and evolving WPF and Blazor applications as well as REST APIs Participating in the gradual extraction of legacy features into reusable services and APIs Modernizing batches and application flows, particularly through asynchronous architectures and RabbitMQ Working on SQL Server and PostgreSQL issues and participating in improving the performance of existing databases Contributing to code quality, code reviews, and development best practices Participating in the industrialization of deployments via GitLab CI/CD Contributing to application monitoring using Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana Being a source of proposals on technical choices and supporting less experienced developers.
