About the role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn while working immediately in a challenging context, specifically on the further development of a WMS within a high-tech logistics environment where performance and reliability are crucial. You will contribute to the construction and optimization of Java-based applications that support operational processes in real time. Based on functional and technical analyses, you will translate complex logistics flows into scalable and maintainable software solutions as part of a team. You will be given the space to research things yourself, help substantiate technical choices, and propose improvements in architecture and code quality. Within the project team, you will work closely with analysts, architects, and other developers, with knowledge sharing and substantive depth being central. Due to the innovative context, you will have the chance to take ownership and actively contribute to a future-oriented system with a real impact on operational functioning. • Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent • Strong interest in Java development and complex backend systems • You think analytically and feel comfortable in a technical, high-tech environment • You take initiative, enjoy researching new paths independently, and work with a focus on quality • You work in Dutch Remuneration: to be negotiated.
