Data Engineer Databricks (Confirmed to Senior) - CDI (M/F)

About the role

Salary: €50k - €85k package Consulting agency positioned as a pure player on the Modern Data Stack and the Cloud. Teams organized into autonomous squads on high-volume Data Build and transformation projects for demanding key accounts with the rigor of software engineering applied to data: Clean Code, TDD, DDD, DataOps, CI/CD, IaC, FinOps. In this context, we are looking for Data Engineers working on Databricks, from confirmed to senior/lead level depending on your experience. As a Data Engineer, you design, develop, and industrialize robust and scalable data pipelines on modern Cloud/Lakehouse architectures, in close collaboration with Data, IT, and business teams, to guarantee the quality, availability, and performance of data used by BI, Data Science, and business teams. For the most senior profiles, you also take charge of technical leadership: standards, code reviews, mentoring, technical reference on your missions. We are looking for profiles ranging from Confirmed to Senior, with 3 to 12 years of experience or more in Data Engineering. Non-negotiable criterion: Minimum 3 years of real practice in a Databricks Data Engineer role in production (Excluding internships, training, work-study programs). You are a good match if: * You have recent and concrete practice of Apache Spark and Delta Lake * You have a real software engineering background: clean, maintainable, testable code (mainly in Python), unit tests (pytest), data quality controls * You are comfortable with Git and CI/CD workflows, and you design your pipelines as true software products (maintainability, scalability, observability) * You master SQL and have notions of data modeling (medallion architecture) * You are autonomous, rigorous, and know how to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders * (Tech Lead / Senior profiles) You have already implemented technical best practices within a team: standards, code reviews, mentoring, reusable frameworks A Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate (or equivalent) certification is a plus. Experience with dbt, Snowflake, or a major cloud provider is also valued.
