AI Software Engineer - AI Agents - Freelance (M/F)

About the role

Daily rate (TJM): 630 Mission Presentation Within a 3-person AI squad, you will contribute to the design and development of business AI agents on a centralized platform. Current use cases are knowledge-oriented: internal assistants, RAG copilots, enriched chatbots deployed on Microsoft Teams, and a dedicated web interface. In the medium term, the platform will evolve towards hybrid agents capable of orchestrating actions on systems (PaaS, IaaS, CaaS). Your role is both technical and structuring: making developments reliable, consolidating practices, and increasing collective quality. Your Responsibilities Your daily life will revolve around four pillars: * AI Agent Development: Design agents oriented towards internal chatbots, RAG assistants, and business copilots. Implement conversational context management, reasoning logic, and response structuring. Develop secure tools (API calls, DB access, internal services). * RAG & Knowledge Management: Leverage the platform's RAG services, refine retrieval strategies, and improve relevance and explainability. Actively manage hallucinations and response inconsistencies. * IS Integration & MCP: Integrate agents into the existing IS via tools, connectors, and MCP mechanisms (or equivalents). Structure agent ↔ tools ↔ IS exchanges, ensuring the security and traceability of each interaction. * Quality & Structuring: Set up tests (unit, integration, agent behavior), define reusable patterns, and document practices. Contribute to the collective maturity of the squad through code review and sharing best practices. Work Environment * Agents & Orchestration: LangChain, LangGraph, tool-calling, conversational context management * RAG & Knowledge: RAG pipelines, vector stores, retrieval strategies, response observability * IS Integration: REST APIs, databases, internal services, MCP (Model Context Protocol) * Quality & Dev: Python (solid), agent tests, Git, technical documentation * The extra touch: Experience in constrained environments (security, traceability, compliance) - and/or banking context / sensitive IS * Experience: Confirmed++ to Senior - minimum 5 years of experience, including significant experience in AI agent development, orchestration, or equivalent logic. * AI Agent Expertise: Mastery of LangChain / LangGraph (strongly expected). Concrete experience in tool-calling, RAG, and context management in production. * Soft skills: You are quickly autonomous, capable of integrating into an existing team, and proactive regarding patterns, practices, and quality. You simplify complex topics effortlessly and enjoy sharing.
